SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed with regard to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each day. The assistance issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to website all sassa status check people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
