SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie here and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The company place established for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to enable the servicing of all consumers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
